The collation in honour of St Benedict Biscop was a delightful afternoon. The food was delicious, varied, and more plentiful than we could eat in spite of our enthusiastic efforts. Singing was a popular pastime for many - Laudemus, Il Bianco, Margot, My love hath vowed, Dona nobis, Verbum Caro, Rose red, Red wine and white wine all made an appearance - and all present had a delicious lunch and a relaxed afternoon by the sea.
Thanks to Caterine, who was both steward and cook, and to all who helped her.

Good food, good company.
The pork jelly and candied cucumber were both suprisingly good. It was also nice to have people come up from Cluain for such a small event.
