Here is the likely Ball List for Canterbury Faire in 2014. Many thanks to Her Excellency Isabel Maria!
Following is the dance list for the coming Canterbury Faire ball as it sits today. While I initially hoped to have a ball that was clearly something one might have expected to see in England during the second half of the 16th century, I have had to make some compromises for obvious reasons.
Please note that:
* indicates dances are technically too early or too late but are very popular and/or fill a gap (eg easy to do, bouncy or quiet as needed by the set) to get more people on the dance floor
2013 or 2012 indicates the year it was included on a previous CF Ball dance list (to help with music preparations).
The tassel kicking contest will also need to be scheduled for some point during the ball. I'm currently leaning towards between first and second sets to fit with previous balls, but am in no way attached to that timing.
Feedback is gratefully received on the dances, order, music, tassel comp. and more.
Saludos
Isabel Maria
