- Jubilate Deo
- Verbum caro factum est
- La Tricotea
- Alle Psallite
- Stella Splendens
- Alas, Alack (modern in period style)
- Adieu, Adieu
- O my heart
An easy warmup.
Three voices (Vettoria, Katherine, William) on the top line, and one on the bottom (Katherina).
We tried making the final line a little softer, especially in the "de virgine Maria" so that when we repeated that fragment of tune in the chorus we could make a contrast with more volume. It worked pretty well.
Surprisingly good, especially after a break. The first time through was our best attempt yet, the second better still. Sometime in the next few weeks we'll try the second verse. We're hoping to perform it at the Bloth.
Moderate-speed, fast, very fast, very slow; and all good.
Coming on nicely.
We're fleshing out the plan for each person to learn (and memorise) a few of the verses. One voice can sing the words and another can vocalise the other line; or all can vocalise or hum quietly.
Alas, Alack (modern in period style)
Adieu, Adieu
Our first attempt. So far so good. We're transposing it up a tone, so that the bass line is a little more tenor-friendly (and the tenor line a little more alto-friendly).
Always a nice way to finish. Katherina sang the bass an octave up; which works surprisingly well.
