This week - April 9th
We sang As I me walked and Alle Psallitte to begin and end, as both we and Yvonne know them (thanks for joining us, Yvonne: it's lovely to have you). Contrapunto Bestiale was a quick revisit, to show off the silliness.
We spent most of the evening working on Ave vera virginitas, for the first time. After looking at the parts individually, we worked through them in pairs. That was a worthwhile exercise, both in learning how to sing the piece and in hearing how the harmonies go together.
We spent so long on Ave vera virginitas, and were so excited by it, that we never made it to La Tricotea.
Participating: William de Cameron, Katherina Weyssin, Vettoria di Giovanni, Yvonne
Plans for next time
- Ave vera virginitas: continued work, including dynamics and rhythmic changes
- La Tricotea: get to the end, introduce to Yvonne
