We touched on this a few years ago, but haven't looked at it in a long time. We danced the whole dance, but using only the woman's mutanze. Once the rest of the dance is solid, we will learn the man's mutanze, which are significantly more challenging.

The first class of 2012 went well, with good attendance and lots of dancing in spite of the sticky weather.

Some of Ildhafn's fencers are participating Auckland Museum's "Summer Nights" program over the next few weeks. These are our planning notes.
We made a playlist of all the dances on the Canterbury Fair ball list, put in on random, danced everything as is came up, and practiced more intensely those that we had trouble with.
This is a very simple lace, made using only 8 bobbins in two intersecting plaits.
